Biography

The Latin word Parmenter, means tailor. It is possible that when the Roman,s defeated the Gaul's, in the France area, a Parmenter stayed and the family Parmentier was started in France. Also, a Parmentier is said to have introduced the potato to the french people after sailing to and from Peru where the potato is said to have originated.
