Biography
Maggie was born in Dalrymple, Ayrshire, Scotland on 30 March 1902.[1] She was raised in Dalrymple where, presumably, in her twenties, she met her future husband, John Lammie as he was recorded in the 1921 Scotland Census as living and working in Dalrymple.
In 1930, Maggie and John married in Dalrymple[2]and during their married life they farmed at Cleuch and Gosland Farms in Lanarkshire, Scotland. The couple had no children.
Some time after her husband’s death in 1959, Maggie moved to Ayr, Ayrshire, Scotland and she passed away there on 10 June, 2003, at the age of 101.[3] Her remains were interred in Biggar Churchyard, Biggar, Lanarkshire, Scotland.[4]
