The Orphan's Court document in Augusta Twp, Northumberland County mentioned below fails to give the amount left in Albert's estate after expenses (perhaps nil?). Elias Youngman, Overseers of the Poor, presented an account of disbursements for the family totaling 62 pounds and 10 shillings and 3 pence. Rebecca Frith presented an account for nursing the child William in the amount of 9 pounds; and Ann Lawrence presented an account for sundries for the children in the amount of 10 pounds, 13 shillings, 9 pence. The court allowed these amounts to be paid and the Overseers of the Poor were ordered to levy a poor tax and pay the same. [4]

Northumberland Co On-line, mentions 7 children left wards of the public. Albert and his wife died same time as they died after being run off from their home by the Indians. Six of the children were made wards of the public. Assigned as apprentices until the age of 18 to be taught to read and write English. Elias Young(k)man was given Magdalena who was to receive 20 pounds at age 18. Stephen Chambers was given Sarah under similar conditions but only to have 10 pounds at age 18. Anthony Geigen was given Elizabeth under same conditions as Sarah. Mathew Thompson was given Elinor and William under same conditions as Sarah.
