Samuel Pogue was born about 1 December 1860 in Arkansas, United States, son of Francis Marion Washington Pogue.

Samuel married Rose May Flanigan . Their children were:

1. Edward F Pogue
2. Robert L Pogue.

Samuel died about 1 December 1952 in Arkansas aged 92. He is buried in Wiseman Cemetery, Wiseman, Izard County, Arkansas, USA.^[1]
