Biography
Norval was born near Wheeling, WVa on Aug 27, 1856.[1]
He was the son of Elijah Poage and Sarah Gregg.[1]
Norval Wilson Pogue was married on February 21, 1888 to Stella Melinda Morrison, who died on October 2, 1945, she was the daughter of John Alexander Morrison and Maggie Ward.[1]
Children:
1. Guy Morrison Pogue, contracting engineer, Wheeling, WVa; b. August 1, 1889, m. Aug 4, 09 Gladys Watson who d. May 29, 10, and (2) Nov 26, 12 Mabel G. Giffin, dau Robert M. Griffin and Jane S. Dixon; 2nd lieut, US Army, World War 1.
2. Ada Campbell Pogue, Wheeling, WVa; b. there Sep 12, 1896, m. 1914 George Daniel Rentsch, employee Wheeling Electric Co, son George Daniel Rentsch and Lydia Ritter.
Norval was a lumberman and estimator for a planing mill company in 1911.[1]
He passed away on Feb 11, 1935.[2]
