Jerry Len Plunk was born in Dallas, Texas on 14 Jun 1940. He was the son of Melvin Plunk and Beth Taylor. ^[1]

He passed away in Grand Saline, Texas on 9 Jan 2008. ^[2] His body was laid to rest at White Rose Cemetery in Wills Point, Texas. ^[3]

Services for Jerry Len Plunk, 67, were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 12, at First Baptist Church, Wills Point, with Rev. Don Myers officiating.

Burial was in White Rose Cemetery under the direction of Hiett's LyBrand Funeral Home, Wills Point.

Mr. Plunk died January 9, 2008, in Grand Saline.

He was born June 14, 1940, in Dallas to Melvin H. and Bertha Lee Taylor Plunk. He moved to Corpus Christi at an early age and lived there until he graduated from high school. He later attended Midwestern University in Wichita Falls and also served in the U.S. Army Reserve. He married Betty McGowen in 1960. He was a resident of Garland for many years before moving to Wills Point in 1980, and lived in Edgewood for the past six years. He was a project manager in the construction business and was a member of First Baptist Church in Wills Point.

He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin H. Plunk. Survivors include his wife, Betty Plunk, Edgewood; mother, Beth Plunk, Belton; [children and others listed, may be living] Van Zandt Newspaper 14 Jan 2008
