OBITUARY MR. J. PLASTOW.— There passed away at Maryborough yesterday evening Mr. Joseph Plastow, an old identity of Howard. He was born at Maryborough and was educated at the Howard State School. He had followed the occupation of a coal miner all his life being employed with the Queensland Collieries. He was a prominent footballer in his younger days and was an outstanding three-quarter for the Ranger Football Club (Howard). He leaves a sorrowing wife. Mrs. Florence Matilda Plastow , also one son and one daughter, Mr. Edwin Charles Plastow. and Mrs. R. G. Watson (Howard) . There are also three grandchildren. Three brothers, (Messrs. Edwin (Buxton), George and Frank Plastow (Howard) also survive him. The funeral will move from St. Matthew's Church of England (Howard), this (Thursday) afternoon, at 4 o'clock, after service for the Howard Cemetery.
