1st, John Basset, the eldest son, and heir, of John Basset, of Umberlegh (Devon), and his second wife Honora (Honor) Granville, daughter of Sir Thomas Granville. [1] With John they had one son, Arthur Basset, likely born shortly after their marriage and c. 1540. John died in 1541 and Frances remarried.
2nd, Thomas Monke, of Potheridge (Devon) and became the progenitors to the Dukes of Albermarle.[1]
