Hi  again Trace. Thank you for volunteering to help grow our World Wide Family Tree.

You are now a member of the WikiTree Community.   Please note we are trying to build one Collaborative Tree which means one profile per person.  It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add any Profiles to WikiTree.  Everything on WikiTree is a collaborative work in progress so don’t forget to read and sign our Honor Code.  This is what keeps WikiTree a friendly and helpful community.   We have many friendly members, feel  free to ask if you have any questions.

Hi Trace, I noticed that you uploaded or indicate that you intend to upload a GEDCOM. Here's a link to a great step-by-step of our (http://www.geneamusings.com/2013/12/adding-early-seaver-generations-to.html GEDCOM import process) including screenshots that you might find helpful. You might also want to check out our (http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Category:GEDCOMsGEDCOMS). Please keep in mind that our primary vision is to build a collaborative tree with just one profile per person, so please make sure to look for duplicates on WikiTree before adding a profile.
      • If you intend to upload it, I recommend that you start with about 100 people for your first upload, til you get used to the system. Feel free to contact me or any member if you have any questions!

Hi Trace. I see that you have uploaded your DNA for comparison. Did you know that we have a project for DNA where a lot of things are happening? If you are interested and would like to check it out, go to the FIND link top right of your profile page, select PROJECTS from the drop down box, and then select the link for the DNA project. It has information listed that might be of interest to you, and feel free to contact any of the members if you would like more details.

Hi,

Welcome as a guest to WikiTree! We're growing a FREE worldwide family tree, striving for ONE collaborative profile for every person.

A couple suggestions to get you started:

1. Feel free to ask a question at our G2G forum . 2. Our help pages, top right, have all sorts of useful information.

If you would like to contribute, click the volunteer button and leave a comment here on your profile to let our greeters know. You should tell them how you plan to contribute i.e putting your family on, giving information to the community or asking for help. Its also nice to say what experience you have, if any.

Good luck growing your branches, and thanks for offering to help with our shared tree - Matty Gerrard :)
