PIONEER COUNTY RESIDENT DIES
Mrs. Sarah M'Eachran Dies At Home Here
Mrs. Sarah Picken McEachran, 78, widow of John B. McEachran, died Friday at 4:20 p. m. at her home, 939 North Court street.
Mrs. McEachran had been a resident of Rockford for twenty-six years. She was born April 10, 1885 [1855], on a farm near Argyle, Ill., the youngest of a family of thirteen children. Her parents were George and Jane Picken.
Her husband died July 24, 1914.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. James D. McEachran of Caledonia, a son, Wilbur H. McEachran, of Cleveland, O., three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a sister, Miss Margaret Picken, residing at 939 North Court street.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian church.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:30 p. m. at the home. The Rev. W. H. Fulton, pastor of First Presbyterian church, will officiate. Interment will be made in Greenwood cemetery.[7]
