Biography

Florestine was born 28 May 1865 and was baptized 18 Aug 1865 in Saint-François-Xavier. She was the daughter of Louis Piché and Cecile Desmarais. Godparents were John Sinclair and Marie Gariepy, no signatures. ^{[1] [2]}

Florestine died 22 Dec 1915. She was buried in Saint Ignace des Saules Catholic Town Cemetery, Willow Bunch, Assiniboia Census Division, Saskatchewan, Canada. The community has erected a plaque to those buried in the cemetery that closed in 1918 with the last burial being that of a 9 month old baby, next to his mother, in July 1919.
