Leon was born July 31, 1910, he was the son of Aristide Piche and Séraphine (Normand) Piche [1]

Leon married Yvette Archambault in Blind River, Ontario, November 29,1937. Leon was 27, Yvette was a minor aged 17 and parental consent was provided for the couple to be married.[6][7].
