Paralee was born in 1860. She was adopted by the Pettits - her original family name is unknown. She passed away in 1952.

Barbara (Gray) Cutter

Great-grandma was a fantastic gardener - could stick a rose in the ground and cover it with a canning jar and it would grow. She had a garden up until the last couple of years. We had a family reunion and I will never forget she made my brother Paul give her a horsey back ride down the road to the reunion!
