Biography
Ann was born in 1833. Anne, child of Methusaleh Pethick & Mary Clarke, was born 1 August 1833 and baptised on 11 October 1833 in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.[1]
She was the daughter of Methusaleh Pethick and Mary Clarke. [2]
In 1853, she married Charles Kitson. [3]
Charles died in 1870. [4] [5] Ann was a widow in 1881 with 5 children living at home: Amanda, 21; Frederick, 18; Malisa, 17; Edith, 15; and Bertha, 15 and Horan Pethick, age 7.
Bertha died in Rhode Island in 1893. [6].
In the 1881 Canadian census Ann (age 47) was recorded as widowed in Lot 31, Queens, Prince Edward Island, Canada.[7]
