Marriage & children

No record survives of either marriage contract or ceremony. Tanguay does not give a date for this marriage, and erroneously gives her husband a first marriage to a Marie Bilodeau, based on the marriage record of his son Jean (François) to Marie Madeleine Brunet, which is barely legible in parts and names the mother as Marie Bilodon.
