• Peter's original parents on this profile were Ludvig Napoleon Hegg (1810-1890) and Christina Charlotta Petersdotter (1809-1894). They appeared on a birth record for a Peter born on 9 Jan 1840 in Västra Mo, Hjälmseryd, Jönköpings län, Sweden. ^[8] This birthdate is different from the one on Peter's gravestone in Grove City, Minnesota (22 May 1839). ^[9] There is a birth record for a Per born on 22 May 1839 in Kviinge, Kristianstads län, Sweden. The parents on that record are soldier Per Krantz and his wife Sissa Ericsdotter. ^[10] The household record for the parish of Kviinge in the years 1861-1870 shows the household of Soldier Per Svens.
