Biography

... Arnald de Percy thus held a mesne lordship. William died seised in 1295 and was succeeded by his son Alexander, at whose death his son John followed. John Percy died without male issue, and his daughter and heir Juliana married Robert Conyers, whose descendants held the manor for many generations.^[1]

John de Percy presented to the rectory of Kildale in 1323.^[2]

Johannes, filius Alex. de Percy, in 1324 held “iiij libratas terræ in Crathorne" (Inquistion capta coram Rogero de Somerville, Vicecom. Ebor.17 Edw. II. . . . "ad inquirendum super terris et tenem'tis quæ fuerunt Arnoldi de Percye in Com. Ebor." 26 Edw. I [to inquire upon the lands and tenements which belonged to Arnold de Percy in Com. Ebor.].— Percy Feodary).^[3]
