SEE ANCESTRY TREE "COOPER FAMILY TREE" WHICH INCLUDES PHOTO AND ALL CENSUS RECORDS. See 1870 Census for Edward S. Perceville, in which a Mary Perceville, age 19, heads a home with six younger children. Called "Mary Ann" by Lydia Lawrence. In the 1880 Census, Mary Cooper is married to Burril Cooper and lives in Columbia. She is 29 and has four children, including the first born son named after her father and her first born daughter named after her mother. Also in the household are 12 year old Charlotte Percival and 10 year old Anna Percival, listed as sisters. Mary, Charlotte and Anna are described as Mu; Burril and the children are described as B. Mary works taking in washing at home. Unable to locate a Census report for 1900. In 1910, Mary and Burrill/Burrel are both still alive, married 36 years, but their ages are not reported in the census. They live with Moses and younger children Henry, Alfred, Lottie, Jennie, and Anna, and a granddaughter named Magdelene, age 8. Mary reported that she had 10 births, 9 living. Mary is present in city directories up to 1912, but not 1913. Find a grave memorial in Elmwood Cemetery, but she died in Greeneville.
