Biography

Joseph Robert Roland, son of Edmond Pepin and Yvonne Detannancour, was born and baptised on 22 Oct 1911 in St-François-Du-Lac. Godparents were Arthur Pepin and his wife Mathilda Lambert (signature). ^[1]

On 27 Sep 1938, in Yamaska, miner Rolland Pepin adult son of Edmond Pepin and Yvonne de Tonnancour married Cora St-Germain adult daughter of Willy St-Germain and Marie Louise Parent. Witnesses included both fathers, the couple sign the register along with the bride's father. The couple are noted as having a marriage contract with notary Robert Veroinneau (?). ^[2]

Rolland Pepin, 74 year old husband of St-Germain resident of Yamaska-Est, died 25 May 1986 in Sorel. ^[3] He is buried in St-Michel-d'Yamaska cemetery. ^[4]
