Biography
François Pepin dit Lachance was born on June 28, 1760, in Montmorency, Nouvelle-France, son of Jean-Marie Pépin (1728-1811), and Marie Madeleine Pare (1727-1799) .
Marriage
François married Agnès Bolduc (1763-1832) on August 29, 1785, in St-Joachim-de-Montmorency, Quebec.
Children
They had four known children during their marriage:
- Geneviève Pépin (1789-)
- Joseph (Lachance) Pépin (1792-1832)
- Olivier (Pepin) Pépin (1796-1882)
- Emilie Pepin - 1814
Death
François died on July 31, 1832, in Cap-de-la-Madeleine, Bas-Canada, at the age of 72.
