We need a reliable source for the parents on this profile. Thanks

Porter-4809 and Penn-117 appear to represent the same person because: Porter-4809 was created as the mother of Hannah and Mary Wheeler per the profile's notes

The comment below re Anderson, appears to be misleading. Anderson shows James Penn married Katharine_______; they had no children per Anderson

Fifty great migration colonists to New England & their origins by John Brooks Threlfall, has lots of information on George Wheeler and Catharine if anybody has access to a copy.

R C Anderson lists the husband of Hull-969 as James . The cited Concord VR seems to name the spouse of Penn-117 as Obadiah, but findagrave shows George.

Torrey shows the spouse of James as Katharine.

Brad, thanks. I don't see that work cited on the profile. Do you have a full citation?

"Descendants of Henry Wheeler" notes this re: Catherine

He married at Cranfield, 8 June 1630, his only wife, CATHERINE PIN (PR, v. 27, 39, "Cath PIN"; at Cranfield, the name Pin is also spelled Ping and Pyng, at Holcot, Pinge; at Kempston there were Penns, but no Pins; the surname may be a variant of Penn/Paine). She died at Concord, 2 January 1684/5 (VR, 26).

Pin-3 and Penn-117 appear to represent the same person because: Same person, with surname variants. Check your source for date of death; if it was a "double" date, i.e. 1684/5, in modern usage that would be 1685.
