Biography

Sarah (Penhall) Prideaux was born in the Colony of South Australia (1836-1900)

Sarah Ann Penhall was born 12th March 1871 at Wallaroo Mines, South Australia, the daughter of Nicholas Penhall and Grace Williams. Her birth was registered in the Daly district. [1]

Marriage. On 20th February 1892, Sarah was 21 when she married 27-year-old John Mutton Prideaux at the Welsh Manse, Wallaroo, South Australia. Their marriage was registered in the Daly district, with their respective fathers recorded as Nicholas Penhall and Charles Prideaux. [2][3]

Death. Sarah Ann Prideaux died in 1955 at East Cannington, Western Australia, aged 84. Her death was registered in the Canning district, recording her parents correctly. [4]

Burial. The remains of Sarah Ann Prideaux, late of East Cannington, who had died 18th November 1955, aged 84, were interred at the Karrakatta Cemetery (Congregational FA 0362) [5]
