Éloi Pelletier est né le 2 juin 1563 à St-Pierre de Bresolettes, Perche, France.[citation needed]
Vers 1597, à Saint-Pierre de Bresolettes, il épousa Françoise Matte.
Il est décédé le 11 février 1620 et fut inhumé à St-Pierre de Bresolettes, Perche, France.[citation needed]

Parish registers for Bresolettes are only available from 1674, so Eloi Pelletier's birth date of 1563 is impossible to verify. Similarly for his burial.
He was not the son of René Le Pelletier and Marie Cupif, who lived and were settled in Anjou and not Perche. Several of their children are known; no Eloi.
