Biography

Bessie (Pekarofsky) Androfsky has Jewish Roots.

Bessie and her children had been living at the Centro Maccabeo in Havana, Cuba, for 10 months when Roy, Bessia, Sonia (Sara), Rosa (Richel), Srul, and Brucha Androfsky arrived on the ship Cuba on 1 April 1924 in Key West, Florida, United States, bound for South Haven, Michigan, where Roy had been living.^[1]

In the 1930 census Bessie (age 42) was the wife of Roy Androfsky in Casco, Allegan, Michigan, United States.^[2]

Bessie died on 29 August 1957.^[3] Bessie died on 29 August 1957 and was buried within Waldheim Cemetery Co., Forest Park, Cook County, Illinois, United States.^[4]
