One of the witnesses at his wedding to Elizabeth Lobley was James S Pearson. I suspect that he might well be Benjamin's brother or uncle. I can find no suitable James S Pearson in the 1881 census. There is, however, a James Pearson, born in. West Ardsley and living in Mirfield in 1881.
