Alice was born on 17 February 1884 in Paddington, London, England.[1][2][3]

Alice was baptised on 30 May 1886 in Notting Hill All Saints, England.[4]

In 1891 Alice (age about 6) was living in Paddington, London, England. Note: Relation to Head: Daughter.[5]

When Alice was about 16 she married Charles James Selby in 1901. The couple had 4 children: Robert C Selby, Edward Charles Selby, Vera Lilian Selby and Queenie R Selby.[6]

In the 1901 census Alice (age 17) was living in Paddington, London, England. Note: Relation to Head of House: Daughter.[7]

When Alice was 26 she married in July 1910 in Kensington and Chelsea, Middlesex, England.[8]

In the 1911 census Alice (age about 26) was living in Kensington and Chelsea, Middlesex, England. Note: Marital Status: Married; Relation to Head: Wife.[9][3]

In 1921 according to an electoral register Alice (age about 36) was living at 26 Golborne Gardens, North Kensington, England. Note: Living with husband Charles.[10]

Between 1931 and 1932 according to an electoral register Alice (age about 46) was living at 8 Reeves Avenue, Kingsbury, Middlesex, England. Residence note. Note: Middle name is Isabella so need to be sure this isn't a different person Rent payer Living with Alfred James Selby in 1932 (so either alone or he was a child in 1931).[10]

In October 1936 Alice (age 52) was living at 22 Charlton Villas, Kenton, Middlesex, England. Note: Rent payer: Living with Edwin Barnard - probably Burnand?.

Between 1937 and 1938 according to an electoral register Alice (age about 52) was living at 248 Charlton Road, Kenton, Middlesex, England. Residence note. Note: Only resident with local election franchise so was the rent payer. Living with Edward Selby (son?) and possibly Cyril Robert Orchard who is showing at same address. Cyril shows above her in the records so may be the oldest man in the house?.[10]

In the 1939 register Alice (age 55) was living at 248 Charlton Road, Kenton, Middlesex, England. Residence note. Note: Widowed, unpaid domestic duties. Living with Vera Lillian May, a single female working as a laundry sorter born 16th (or 18th) May 1918 THIS IS LIKELY HER DAUGHTER VERA LILLIAN SELBY.[2]

Alice died at the age of 73 on 25 March 1957 in Hendon, Middlesex, England, United Kingdom.[11]
