Biography

Anna Maria Pauly (aka Pauli) was one of the many children of Johannes Adam Pauly and Anna Maria Ross of Groß Zimmern[1][2]. Anna Maria Pauli was also baptized on the same day that she was born on which was December 30th, 1780.

Anna Maria Pauli, daughter of Joannes Adam Pauli, married Michael Lang [3] when she was 17 years old on the 28th of November,1798 at Groß Zimmern Catholic church.

It is not certain how a young Groß Zimmern girl married a man who was twenty years her senior from out-of-town and moved to Leeheim.

She had, at least, eight children with Michael Lang at Florsheim and Leeheim. At least three of the children: Jacob Lang, Jacobina Lang and Anna Maria Magdalena Lang, lived to adulthood, married and had issue.

Assumption is that Anna Maria Pauli Lang died shortly after childbirth [4] following the birth of a male newborn who also died on February 3rd, 1820.
