Biography

Annie (Patterson) Eddie was born in Ireland.

Ann Elizabeth Mateer "Annie" Patterson was born in 1879 in Ballycrune townland in the parish of Annahilt in County Down, Ireland. She was the daughter of Samuel Patterson and Margaret Mateer.

On 30 May 1906, Annie married Samuel Graham Eddie, a farmer from Ballycrune. They would have seven children together.

Their children were:

1. James Eddie, born in 1910
2. Samuel Patterson Eddie, born in 1913
3. Mary Louisa Eddie, born in 1915
4. Margaret Elizabeth Mateer Eddie, born in 1918
5. Jeannie Graham Eddie, born in 1920, died young
6. William Eddie, born about 1922
7. Robert Graham Eddie, born in 1924

Samuel passed away in 1945.

Annie passed away in 1951. She was buried in Loughaghery Presbyterian Graveyard in Annahilt, County Down.
