Biography
- Mother was Alma Gladys Parsons nee McGhie. I was the youngest of four siblings: Patricia Josephine; Vivienne Ann; John and Kay Rita. I attended St. Bernadettes School and Naenae College in Lower Hutt.
I became a cartographer after leaving school with University Entrance . I attended Wellington Teacher's training College and graduated 1966. I also attended Victoria University and University of Tasmania.Graduated 2000 from UTas as Master of Education. Taught for 42 years.
Married Angus McFarlane Duthie June 26 1969. Two children Clayton Janusz Duthie and Cara Jane Duthie, Two grandchildren Nicole Marie, Michaela Christine from Clayton's first marriage. Nicole's children, Dakota and Mariya and Michaela's yet to be born child. Michaela married Ryan Abrahams 12 March 2016.
Lived in housing tied to Angus' job in the fire service until he retired in 1994. I retired in Dec 2015. Angus died 24 July 2017. Clayton lives in Napier, Cara lives next door.
