Biography
David Parr was born in Cheshire, England.
David was born in 1886[1] in Rainow, Cheshire, England He was the son of David Parr and Mary Wood. The Parr family lived at 186 Gwydir Street, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, where David's father worked as a decorative painter.[2]
At the time of the 1901 census, David and his father were visiting the Ind family in Cowley, Oxfordshire. David junior was an "apprentice decorative painter."[3] He worked as a house painter in 1911, when he lived on Gwydir Street with his parents.[4]
David married Bertha Hale in 1914.[5] In 1921 David worked as a painter for B McLean Leach and the couple lived at 36 Hertford Street, Chesterton, Cambridgeshire.[6] The couple remained there in 1939.[7]
Bertha died in 1962 at the age of 76.[8] David died in 1975.[9][10]
