Obituary

Mrs. Alma Adams, wife of A. C. Adams passed peacefully away at 11 o’clock Saturday morning. She had suffered a great deal but was an example to all, patient to the end. She had been in ill health for several months and her death was due to Typhoid fever.

She was about 28 years of age and was a devoted member of Horeb Baptist church, and a true devoted Christian. She was a loving mother, kind and affectionate and loved by all who knew her. The loss of this dear wife and mother truly brings a deep and heavy shadow but remember that light will sometime break through and then there will be glad and happy reunion in that Heavenly Home where there is no sorrows or shadows.

She is survived by a husband and one little baby girl about two years of age, besides numerous other relatives and friends who mourn her death. It has been a heavy blow but grieve not dear friends for she is safe in the arms of her Savior. But think of the ones who careth for us all and who has prepared a bright and beautiful Home beyond the grave and the spirit of the dear wife and mother will only wait a short period when in happiness and in love she will meet her loved ones and friends never to part no more.

May God bless the grief-stricken husband and guide and protect the precious little babe that it may lead a true life and tread the right pathway of life It was hard to give her up but God knew best and His will must be done.

A precious one from us is gone,
A place is vacant in our home
Which never can be filled,
God in His wisdom has called
The boon His love has given
And though the body slumbers here
The soul is at home in Heaven.
May God bless each and everyone of you in this hour of sadness and sorrow, is the wish of a friend, Bertha Mae Jinks[1]
