Biography

Ann was born in Christ Church Parish 1 October 1722. [1] She was the daughter of Gabriel Parker and Anne Hutchison. She passed away in 1810.

Will

Ann Greenfield, widow of Gerrard Truman Greenfield, signed her will in Prince George's County on March 11, 1809. The will was proved on June 23, 1810, with her son, Walter Truman Greenfield appointed executor.[2]

Research Notes

Several enslaved people held in bondage by members of the Greenfield family filed petitions in the Circuit Court, using various arguments to try and obtain their freedom. Information was also cross-referenced with probate records for Gerrard, Anne, Walter, Gabriel, Sabina, and Maria Amne Greenfield found in Prince George's County records.
