Biography

Florent Parent was born on Oct 14, 1859 in Saint Brunos Parish, Van Buren, Aroostook, Maine, United States, son of Jean Marie Parent (1810–1882) and Angelique Thibodeau (1815–1882).^[1].When Florent Parent was born in 1859, his father, Jean Marie Parent, was 49 and his mother, Angelique Thibodeau, was 44. In 1860, Florent was 1 year old and was living in Township Letter G Range 1, Van Buren, Aroostook, Maine. ^[2] Florent is missing from the "United States Census, 1870." He would have been 11 years old. ^[3]

Florent married Madeleine Cyr in 1894.

Florent died on 6 March 1936, and was buried in Saint Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery, Hamlin, Aroostook, Maine, United States, at the age of 76.
