Marie Élisabeth Parant was born and baptised on 20 April 1743 in Notre-Dame de Québec, Canada, Nouvelle-France. Her parents were Pierre Parent and Marie Louise Gagnon. Godparents at the infant's baptism were Charles Brousseau and Marie Élisabeth Gagnon. The officiating priest was De Lavaltrie.^[1]

Marriage
Marie Élisabeth Parent married Pierre Morar dit Laforme, son of François Morar and Angélique Desrochers, on 5 July 1762 in Notre-Dame de Québec. In the presence of known witnesses Étienne Morare, Louise Morare, Marie Morare, François Parent, Louise Parent, and Josephe Parent. The celebrant priest was Gravé.^[2]Pierre passed away on 24 February 1797 in Varennes.

Death and Burial
Élisabeth Parent, wife of the late Pierre Laforme, passed away on 20 June 1811 being given the age of around 70 years on the record. Her burial was two days later in Varennes.^[4]
