Biography

Ellen Mary Morewood was born in 1856 in Warwickshire ^[1] daughter of Charles Palmer-Morewood and his wife, Georgiana Byron.

She was 17 when on the 25th of September 1873 at Ashover in Derbyshire, she married Alfred Edward Miller Mundy son of Alfred Miller Mundy ^[2] and his wife, Jane Hindmarsh. Their daughter, Evelyn Hester Mundy was born in 1874. ^[3]

Ellen ran away with the 19 year old Earl of Shrewsbury, Charles Chetwynd-Talbot. Alfred petitioned for a divorce in 1881. ^[4] Ellen and Charles were married in 1882. ^[5]

She died on the 23rd of August 1940. ^[6][7]
