William Palmer was born on 16 August 1701 in Clyst Hydon, Devon, England.

William (42) married Hannah Whitlock (1742) on 26 October 1743 in Luppitt, Devon^[1]. Their known son was John Palmer (born 1744). William Palmer became vicar of Combe Raleigh upon the death of his father in 1726. Was also vicar of Milton Clevedon in Somerset. William died in 1784 in Combe Raleigh, Devon, aged 82.
