JOHN George Paisley was born on September 22, 1866, in Ontario, his father, Thomas Paisley and his mother, Mary Graham Graham. He married Ruby N P Goddard. He was a Methodist missionary in Rhodesia at -Old Amatali mission where Ruby worked probably was married there about 1916 He died, 2 Jul 1948 in Toronto, Ontario
