Birth

Nothing is known of the ancestry of Joseph L. Page. Based on his age at his death from his gravestone, he was born on or about 30 Nov 1801.^[1] The 1850 Census shows him as 49 years old, born in New Hampshire.^[2]

Marriage

The town clerk of Livermore, Maine, ceritified that "an intention of marriage between Mr. Joseph Page of Livermore & Miss Mercy Kitteredge of Readfield has been entered & published in the town of Livermore as the law directs." The intention is undated, but its placement in the records indicates that it was recorded in mid-1822.^[3]

Death

A gravestone at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Livermore Falls, Maine, says that Joseph L. Page died on 20 Mar 1891 at the age of 89 years, 3 months, 20 days.^[1]
