Eleanor Coerr (née Page; May 29, 1922 – November 22, 2010) was a Canadian-born American writer of children's books, including Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes (historical fiction) and many picture books.
Eleanor was born in 1922. She passed away in 2010.
