Biography
Seeley said to be a son of Ethan Owen born 1774 in Poultney, Rutland Co., VT, and died May 21, 1849 in Camden, Schyler Co., IL. Ethan married HANNAH SEELEY January 26, 1801 in Milton, Chittenden Co., VT, daughter of SHELDON SEELEY and DEBRA BOWKER. She was born December 25, 1783 in Thetford, Orange Co., VT. SEELEY OWEN, b. March 20, 1805, Milton, Chittenden Co., VT He married LYDIA ADELINE OWEN November 27, 1834 in Rushville, Schuyler Co., IL, daughter of IRA OWEN and BETSY CASTLE. She was born July 01, 1811 in Milton, Chittenden Co., VT, and died September 19, 1846 in Winter Quarters, NB.
