Patricia (Olson) Crane is Notable.

As the actress known as Sigrid Valdis, she appeared as "Anna" in the movie Our Man Flint, and as "Kitty" in the movie Marriage on the Rocks; and also on television in such series as : The Wild Wild West, and Kraft Suspense Theatre; but is best known for playing "Hilda" in the hit American television series Hogan's Heroes.

Life Events

Patricia Anette Olson was born on September 21, 1935, in Bakersfield, Kern County, California, United States.^[1] Her birth registration names only her mother by her last name: Hardwick.^[2]

Patricia married firstly fashion businessman George Gilbert Ateyeh on November 5, 1958, in Los Angeles County, California. They were to have one child, a daughter: Melissa, before George died in 1967.

She married secondly actor Robert Edward "Bob" Crane on October 16, 1970, on the set of their hit television series "Hogan's Heroes", in California.^[3] They were to have two children, a daughter: Ana, and a son: Scott, in addition to her daughter from her first marriage, and the three children from Bob's first marriage. The couple divorced in December 1977,^[4] and then Crane was killed in 1978 (his death still listed as unsolved).

After Crane's death, Patricia moved from California to Washington state, where she lived in Seattle.^[5]

In 1998, while still living in Seattle, she became a cast member on her son's syndicated weekly sketch comedy radio show: Shaken, Not Stirred; then, in 2004, she moved back to her childhood home in Westwood, California, where she answered questions on a blog honouring Bob Crane. Although at this point she was not using her stage name, she later did resume its use.

Patricia Annette Crane née Olson, also Ateyeh, known as Sigrid Valdis, passed away of cancer, on October 14, 2007, in Anaheim, Orange County, California, United States, aged 72 years.^[6]

Under her stage name, Sigrid Valdis, she was buried alongside Bob Crane in Westwood Memorial Park, Los Angeles.^[7]

1. A 1940 census, that may be for a different, similarly-named (Olsen), family has Patricia aged 5-years, the father named as Harold, and the mother named as Ruth, and a 3-year-old brother named Harold junior.^[8]
2. A different 1940 census for Patricia Olson aged 4-years (which would be more correct than 5-years-old), has the mother named as Myrle, aged 22 years, born Washington State, Divorced, living in Kern County.^[9]
3. Another 1940 census for Patricia Olson aged 4-years, has the mother named as Myrtle, aged 24 years, born Washington State, living in San Jose, Los Angeles County, possibly divorced as the M for married has a strikethrough.^[10]
