Biography

Gjertrud was born on April 13, 1852, and was baptized at Tylldalen Kirke on May 9. She was the daughter of Ingebor Larsdatter Overbye and Ole Olsen Olsberg, who were unwed (Ole was already married). She eventually went to live with Ole and his family though. On July 7, 1879, she married Erik Olsen Broen at Tylldalen Kirke. She passed away on December 26, 1905, and was buried at Tylldalen Kirkegård.
