"Charles L. Olds, age 60, died at his home, 1240 W. Washington street, at midnight following a six months' illness with paralysis. He was confined to his home during the entire period of his illness. Mr. Olds retired from active business life about five years ago. He was for many years engaged in the contracting business.
"Mr. Olds was the son of Noble G. Olds, who established the Olds Wheel Works here. He was a resident of Fort Wayne for about 60 years, coming here with his parents when a boy.
"He is survived by the widow, five sons, Charles L. of Boston; Percy T. and Alec M., of this city; Norman E. of Sarnia, Ont., and Edward C. at Princeton N.J., and one daughter, Mrs. Walter Spencer, of Indianapolis.
"Funeral arrangements will be announced later."

"Services and burial were held yesterday for Mrs. Marjorie Olds Spencer, Bellville, IL. She died there in her home Saturday. She was formerly from Fort Wayne.
"Mrs. Spencer was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Olds of Fort Wayne. Her husband, Walter R Spencer, also of this city, died three years ago.
"She is survived by a daughter Betty, at home; two sons, Richard, Dayton, O., and Charles, Cincinnati, and three brothers, Percy G. Olds, Fort Wayne, Norman E. Olds, Cleveland, and Edward Olds, New York City."
