Third but first surviving son and heir. (Before him were two sons in 1714 and 1715, both named George, who both died in infancy.) The date of birth shown above is his date of baptism.
He died without issue, being drowned while bathing at the Black Rocks, near Cullen, Moray. He was buried at Banff on 1st August 1738.[1]
