Greetings! Are you aware Wikitree has a Poland Project? Check out our page to see what we are doing in Wikitree, how you can help and utilize the Project: Poland/Resource Library to see what information is out there to help you in your research. If you are new to Wikitree and are having a difficult time getting started, check out a Welcome to Wikitree page which will help you with the basics of Wikitree.

The Poland Project is very busy categorizing villages in Poland. If we have created a village category for you, please help us by finding other Wikitree profiles from the same village and copy/pasting the same category above the Biography header. You can find villages through the Find link at the top right of your page. Scroll to the bottom, "Search for Any Text". Categorizing = connecting users or profiles. We appreciate any help you have to offer!

Hello, Lisa, I have a Prather line. My ancestor, Basil Prather is my proven Patriot of the National Daughters of the American Revolution. I would line to merge my Wiki Tree Prather line, 1913, with other Prather lines on Wiki Tree that I saw in an email from WikiTree. Can you help me do that? I am new to WikiTree.

Thank you, Maria This message is from Maria Jolicoeur

Thank you, Lisa, for your time and effort on the Leslie tree, a near needle in a haystack. Having confirmed sources is invaluable!

Hi !

Congratulations on being Pre-1700 certified! Now it's time to pick a project that best fits the pre-1700 profiles you'll be working on.

Is there a particular time period, location, or topic you're interested in? Do you have some historically-significant ancestors? Look at the list of active projects to see if one fits your needs.

Once you find a project that interests you, visit their project page for more information and to find out how to join. You can also use the Following link to add the project tag to your profile, and you'll be kept up to date on any activity that occurs for that project.

Can't find what you're looking for? Let me know, and I can make some suggestions! :-)

Hi ,

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.

If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.

Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page.

PS: As you start your tree and adding your relatives you may consider editing your surname so that your last name can tie in with your tree listings.
