Eugene O'Curry born in 1794, third son of Eoghan Mór Curry [c.1740-1825] and Catherine (Madigan) Curry.[1] His father, Owen Mor O'Curry, had a thorough knowledge of the antiquities. [2]
He signed his name in English as Eugene Curry. [3]
"Eugene married in 1828 or 1829 to Anne Broughton (daughter of John, son of Henry, son of Robert, son of John, son of Robert Broughton) whose ancestor came over to Ireland with Cromwell in 1649." [4]
Eugene married on 3 Oct 1824 to Anne Broughton, daughter of John Broughton of Killaderry near Broadford, County Limerick. [5]

Eugene died 30 July 1862 at his home. He is buried in Glasnevin cemetery, Dublin.
