On 22 Apr 1930 at the time of the 1930 US Census, head of household Frank P. O'Connor (age 36, born in WI) was employed as a Laborer at an Auto Factory and living in a home he rented for $22.50 in Delhi, Ingham county, Michigan with his wife, Rachel P. O'Connor (age 36, born in MI); daughter Grace M. O'Connor (age 11, born in WI); daughter Carolyn R. O'Connor (age 8, born in MI); son David L. O'Connor (age 5, born in MI); daughter Marjory M. O'Connor (age 3, born in MI); father Robert N. Vanderveer (age 65, born in Canada); and mother Cornelia L. Vanderveer (age 60, born in MI). Frank was 24 years old when first married; Rachel was 24 years old when first married. Both of Frank's parents were born in Wisconsin; Rachel's father was born in Canada, and her mother in Michigan. Robert Vanderveer was first married at age 27; Cornelia was first married at age 22. Both of Robert's parents were born in English-speaking Canada; Cornelia's father was born in New York and her mother in Michigan. Robert N. Vanderveer immigrated to the USA from Canada in 1888. ^[1]
