Biography

Mary O'Brien was born to Morris O'Brien[1] about April 22, 1751.[2] She was likely born in Scarborough, Maine, although no records have been found.[3]

Mary married Job Burnham, in Mendon, Massachusetts, June 25, 1769.[4]

Mary and Job had the following known children, all born in Machias, Maine.[5]

Military

Job Burnham, born 10 May 1745 in Scarborough, York, Maine District of Massachusetts, died in Machias, Maine @1802, and his wife Mary O'Brian are honored for patriotic service: 1) KEEPER OF THE BURNHAM TAVERN WHICH WAS USED 2) FOR HOSPITAL FOR WOUNDED MEN IN BATTLE, 1775. John Burnham, the son of Mary O'Brian and Job Burnham, was born 10 April 1783 in Machias, Washington, Maine. John married Betsy Libby[6]

Mary died about 1811 per DAR.[2]
