Biography

In March, 1909, Sivert and Johanna Norum entered the US with daughter Selma (3) with final destination of Minnesota.^[1]

Selma Elizabeth Norum married Joseph I Nystuen on May 29, 1927 at Kittison, Minnesota.^[2]

In 1930 the couple were farming at Scorio Township in Williams County, North Dakota. They had one child, daughter Eunice born about 1929 in North Dakota.^[3] They remained there through 1935 but by 1940 were living at Barton Villiage in Pierce County, North Dakota. They had 5 children at the time.^[4]

Selma Nystuen, born May 29, 1906 died at Hennepin, Minnesota on April 24, 1989.^[5] She was buried at Northfield Cemetery.^[6]
