Ambrose was baptised 30 Mar 1645 Blackfriars, London, England, the son of Roger Norton and Susan[1]

6 Jun 1685 Marriage licence Ambrose Norton aged about 30 and Mrs Margaret Littleton widow aged about 30 both of St Martin in the Fields. Married 8th Jun 1685[2]

He married secondly Martha Lowe who was buried St Martin in the Fields 1 Feb 1713/14

He married thirdly Dame Frances Norton the widow of his cousin Sir George Norton.
